Due to the craziness of life, I had to make some changes.

FRIDAY - Simply wearing something cute with my awesome Mugatu wig from Arda Wigs. I'm arriving via bus in the late morning/early afternoon, so that would be easiest for me. I'll be assisting Anime Sushi in some way during my time there. Then I rendezvous with my roommate later in the evening to retrieve my getup for Saturday.

SATURDAY - This is the day I help out with the Costume Contest wearing my newest costume! I'll be dressed as Eruka Frog from Soul Eater. I'm really proud with how this headache came out, so I'll be wearing it with pride as I help out the fabulous people with Anime Sushi again and promoting our show at BelleCON 2014, the Starlight Ball (where I'll be portraying Eruka). This will be my seventh year volunteering with Sushi and it's always such a pleasure and an honor. While I don't think I'll be judging this year (I've judged for them five times out of the past six years), I still want to see everyone's amazing works!

SUNDAY - My sister, Jamie, and I will be doing a secret project for the Disney meet! But it does involve the Muppets! I'm going to be cranking them out soon.

I'm bummed that I can't get Kinon done for Megacon, but Eruka wiped me out! I'm hoping to complete her sometime this year, though. We also had to cancel the  Bimbettes due to the work involved would take more time than we can give to them. But it's Disney cosplay. Meaning we can do it whenever!

Hope to see some friendly and familiar faces there!

Here's the deal! Since my last update, I have found work (yay... although today I had to call in and plan to go to a clinic because what I though was a cold isn't acting like a cold and needless to say, I'm worried)! YAY! And my cosplay plans have changed.

I got a part at BelleCON I didn't expect (Eruka Frog from "Soul Eater") and she's going to take more time and money than the one I auditioned for, so I had to scratch Sakizou's Relm for now because this costume has a mandatory Megacon due date. I bought the stuff for the main part yesterday. The hat... lets just say I'm waiting for advice on that one.

Been working on a Christmas version on Kyoko from "Puella Magi Madoka Magica", but life and stuff got in the way of a Christmas completion. So I plan to wear her to Jacksonville Anime Day www.jacksonville.animeday.net/ on Sunday. It's January 5th. Close enough to still be festive. I didn't go to Holiday Matsuri, after all.

Friday - Kinon Bachika from "Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann" with as Kiyal and as Kiyoh. I think wants to be Kittan?
Saturday - Eruka Frog from "Soul Eater" to promote BelleCON belleconventions.com/ and the Starlight Ball.
Sunday - Laura (Orange Bimbette) from "Beauty and the Beast" with as Claudia (Red) and as Paula (Green), and I believe as Gaston. This is for the Disney meet that happens every year (you should join - it's huge and a blast!).

Several cosplays with and will probably happen since the latter is my roommate and the former is her best friend (and mutual friend of ours) we all hang out regularly (read - three or more times a week). They're also the directors to the Starlight Ball at BelleCON, so that's more time we will spend together... yeah. I know the other trio we're planning are Asuna, Lisbeth, and Silica from "Sword Art Online." When? At this point, anything past May doesn't exist. >.>

I'm also assisting with a new event called Omni Expo www.omniexpo.com in Orlando over Memorial Day weekend. Should be a blast!

Some new things in my life:

1. Moved to Jacksonville! Unfortunately, the job offer I had wouldn't accept my passport for ID (my permit is expired and I don't have the money or proof of address to update it... it expired in May, but I was already planning the move and it isn't like I drive, anyway), so I'm still searching. Have another interview this morning, hope it pans out!

2. New cosplay plans that I hope can happen!
    ~Bimbette (Laura in Orange) from Beauty and the Beast - for the Disney gathering at Megacon
    ~Relm (Sakizou) from Final Fantasy VI - for the Sakizou gathering at Megacon
    ~Silica from Sword Art Online - Don't know WHEN, but yes.
Still hope to make Medusa (Soul Eater) and Akane (Ranma 1/2), but we need to see how funds are.

3. Auditioning for BelleCON's Starlight Ball. If you can come to Jacksonville weekly to rehearse, you should too. www.facebook.com/events/526070…

That's about it! I have to go make myself presentable for an interview. I don't think Chip and Dale PJs and polka dot slipper socks will make the impression I want!

We had a snag in getting my Princess Aurora goodies (he never processed the order or payment, and now won't reply to emails...), so she's back on the back burner until I figure out a plan B.

So we have some changes.

This Christmas my friends and I are planning Holiday-themed original costumes for the characters of Puella Magi Madoka Magica. I'm even planning on making a little Santa hat for Kyubey. We have all five Magi! YAY!

And I won BEST IN SHOW for my Link costume in the Summer Costume Contest over at Limelight Masquerade www.facebook.com/limelightmasq on Facebook (still shocked, by the way), so my prize was a $15 gift certificate to Epic Cosplay www.epiccosplay.com/ (if you haven't tried their wigs, do it). So expect AKANE TENDO from Ranma ½ in the future to go with my Shampoo (one of my besties). YAY!
